Most gamblers agree that there really is no competent Baccarat strategy.
Not so. It is true that any strategy that claims to be a foolproof
system is most likely filled with flaws, and misleading information.
Baccarat does however, offer some basic baccarat strategic moves that
one can use to improve their chances of winning.
One common factor that can be found at casinos that offer Baccarat
is the scorecard. It appears as if all of the players are keeping track
of the outcome of each hand. That in fact is what they are doing. They
are looking for patterns that will warn them to change their own betting
patterns so that they can take advantage of a winning streak. Such
behavior is encouraged by casinos since they know that it has no bearing
on how the games come out. Attempting to find patterns in Baccarat
is no more successful than it is in roulette. Each hand is unique and
has no affect on any other hand. It seems like gamblers from all parts
of the world eventually fall into this trap. If a flipped coin that
you are betting on comes up nine times in a row heads, something in
your brain will try to convince you that a tails flip is imminent,
and there is a likelihood that it is true. But this is spurious raising
since the chance of a tail coming up on the tenth flip is the same
as all nine other times, and that is 50%. Any strategy connected to
Baccarat that gets you to change your bets based on prior hands is
of no use and should not be used.
Even though everyone at the table seems to be marking down numbers
on cards provided by the casino, it should only be considered as a
form of entertainment and nothing more. It is only an attempt by the
casino to distract you from more important parts of the game play that
need your attention. Do you think that Las Vegas casinos would provide
these materials if they were of any value?
